Altamonte Diesel Return Policy

General Return Conditions We strive to ensure you get the right parts for your diesel equipment. If you need to return an item, our policy is as follows:

  • Timeframe: Returns must be requested within 30 days of the original invoice date.

  • Restocking Fee: All eligible returns are subject to a standard 20% restocking fee.

  • Condition: Items must be returned in brand new, uninstalled condition, in their original, undamaged packaging, with all included hardware and manuals.

Strict Policy on Nozzles, Injectors, and Fuel System Components Due to the precise calibration and high risk of contamination in diesel fuel systems, we enforce strict return conditions on these specific parts:

  • Unopened Parts: Nozzles, injectors, and electronic components may only be returned if the factory seal is completely intact and the packaging is unopened.

  • Opened or Installed Parts: We do NOT accept returns on any nozzles, injectors, pumps, or electronic components if the packaging has been opened, the seal is broken, or there is any evidence of attempted installation. Once an injection part is exposed to an open environment or fluids, it cannot be resold as new.

  • Custom Builds: Any custom-calibrated, specially ordered, or modified parts are final sale and cannot be returned or refunded.

How to Process a Return

  1. Request an RMA: You must contact us to receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number before shipping any parts back. Returns sent without a valid RMA number will be refused and sent back at the buyer's expense.

  2. Packaging: Please securely package the item inside an outer shipping box. Do not write the RMA number directly on the manufacturer’s product box.

  3. Shipping: The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance for high-value items, as we are not responsible for parts lost or damaged in transit back to us.

Defective Parts & Warranties If you believe a part is defective out of the box, please contact us immediately. Defective parts are subject to the manufacturer's warranty policies and will be tested upon return. If a nozzle or injector is found to be contaminated by dirty fuel or improper installation, the warranty claim will be denied.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Local Walk-in Customers

All injection pumps, injectors, or any other items must be collected from our location within 10 days. Failure to do so will result in the items being deemed abandoned and may be sold off for liquidation.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
